This application offers the capability to set alarms for key times throughout the day, including dawn, sunrise, sunset, and dusk. Each alarm can be tailored with an offset, repetition schedule, label, and sound.

• Offset: This feature allows users to adjust the alarm time in relation to the specified event. For example, one might choose to wake up with an alarm five minutes before dawn, or receive a reminder 30 minutes prior to sunset to prepare for departure. Additionally, an alarm can signal bedtime 16 hours after sunrise.
• Repetition: Users can specify particular days of the week for their alarms. Selecting Monday, for instance, will ensure the alarm sounds at the designated time every Monday. Users also have the option to set the alarm for every day of the week.
• Labels: Custom labels can be assigned to each alarm for easy identification. The app conveniently displays relevant information including the type of event (e.g., dawn), offset time, and repetition settings without requiring extensive user input.
• Sound Selection: Users can choose their preferred sound or song for alarm notifications. The sound selection interface provides options for notification duration and frequency of alerts. Users have control over how long the sound will play, with a maximum duration of 30 seconds per notification. If a song is selected, this duration is fixed at 30 seconds. Furthermore, users can set the alert frequency from one to ten occurrences, allowing for extensive notification periods up to a total of 300 seconds (30 seconds multiplied by ten notifications).

The app icon badge reflects the earliest notification time.

To optimize functionality, users are encouraged to:

• Allow location access: The app utilizes location information to accurately calculate event times by enabling “always” location access, facilitating background time updates.
• Permit notifications: Allow notifications while the app runs in the background to ensure timely updates for dawn, sunrise, sunset, and dusk times.
• Keep the app running in the background: To ensure daily updates for dawn, sunrise, sunset, and dusk times, users should avoid forcefully closing the app. These times will also refresh upon launching the application.
